About the Job
eDerm Systems is a web-based electronic health records (EHR) and practice management system specifically designed for dermatologists.
Our growing company is seeking a Senior Accountant. You will essentially serve as the controller for eDerm, primarily preparing monthly financial statements and analyses for the business. The successful candidate will also handle some accounts payable and general ledger entries. Excellent computer skills are required, along with the ability to handle multiple projects at the same time. The candidate must have strong technical knowledge in addition to excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to build effective relationships.
This is a fully remote position.
Job Description- Compile monthly reporting package including financial statements, support schedules and analyses.
- Assist with the day to day accounting functions, including preparing journal entries, account reconciliations, analyses, and assisting with monthly close processes.
- Assist with transition from Oracle NetSuite to QuickBooks.
- Review monthly accounts payable transactions via bill.com.
- Assisting the Accounting leadership in year-end processes including audit and GAAP entries.
- Expert level experience in QuickBooks
- Understands SaaS revenue recognition
- RCM (revenue cycle management) accounting experience is a plus
- Excellent computer skills (MS Office/Excel)
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to establish and meet deadlines
- Good analytical skills and problem-solving ability
- Supervisory experience
- Takes pride in their work
