Qualifications
- Minimum 3-4 years of accounting experience, preferably in a fast-paced environment.
- Effective communication skills.
- Strong attention to detail and highly organized.
- Intermediate to Advanced Microsoft Excel skills; Pivot tables, vlookup, table creation, filters.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or related field strongly preferred.
- Experience with month end and year end close reconciliations, and analysis.
- Experience with accounting software packages such as Sage 300 and Yardi preferred.
- Experience with Paris on the Web revenue control software a plus.
Responsibilities
- Preparation of monthly landlord operating statements.
- Perform bank reconciliations.
- Account analysis, data entry, reconciliations, and preparation of month end adjusting entries.
- Audit and reconciliation of balance sheet accounts.
- Preparation of year-end workpapers.
- Preparation of monthly local sales tax, parking tax, and annual business tax returns.
- Various accounting projects as needed.
