Sr. Accountant - Robert Half

Description We are in search of a Sr. Accountant to join our team in Seattle, Washington. As a Sr. Accountant, you will be providing support to our financial reporting function in the property management industry. You will be responsible for running financials, reconciling reports, analyzing GL trends, and ensuring all transactions are posted and reconciled. This role offers a long-term contract employment opportunity. Responsibilities: - Conduct analysis of General Ledger codes to identify historical trends and data. - Perform accurate and efficient processing of bank reconciliations. - Ensure all transactions such as journal entries are posted and reconciled accurately. - Support the financial reporting function by running financials and reconciling reports. - Utilize Microsoft Excel and OneSite software for various accounting tasks. - Prepare and finalize financial statements, ensuring they comply with industry standards. - Perform financial analysis and variance analysis as part of the reporting process. - Take responsibility for the month-end close process. - Identify opportunities to improve systems and processes within the accounting department. - Conduct balance sheet reconciliation and ensure accuracy of customer credit records. Requirements - Demonstrated expertise in Account Reconciliation - Proficiency in Balance Sheet Reconciliation - Experience with Bank Reconciliations - Solid understanding of General Ledger operations - Ability to prepare and analyze Journal Entries - Proficiency in using Microsoft Excel for financial tasks - Experience with Month End Close procedures - Familiarity with OneSite software - Proven ability in Financial Reporting - Experience in Financial Statement Preparation - Strong aptitude for Financial Analysis - Proficiency in Variance Analysis Robert Half is the world's first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
