Sr. Business Analyst VA - Maximus

We are looking for an experienced Senior Business Analyst to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will lead the analysis of business processes, identify areas for improvement, and develop strategies to optimize performance. You will work closely with stakeholders to gather requirements, create detailed documentation, and translate business needs into actionable solutions. Your expertise will be crucial in guiding projects from inception to completion, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.

The ideal candidate has a strong background in business analysis, with a proven track record of delivering successful projects.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

- Apply business process improvement practices to re-engineer methodologies/principles and business process modernization projects.

- Assist in the application of activity and data modeling, transaction flow analysis, internal control and risk analysis, modern business methods, and performance measurement techniques.

- Assist in establishing standards for information systems procedures.

- Develop solutions to a variety of complex problems.

- Develop and apply organization-wide information models for use in designing and building integrated shared software and database management systems and data warehouses.

- Follow Information Management guiding principles, cost savings, and open system architecture objectives.

Minimum Requirements

- Bachelor's degree in related field.

- 5-7 years of relevant professional experience required.

- Equivalent combination of education and experience considered in lieu of degree.

Pay Transparency

Maximus compensation is based on various factors including but not limited to job location, a candidate's education, training, experience, expected quality and quantity of work, required travel (if any), external market and internal value analysis including seniority and merit systems, as well as internal pay alignment. Annual salary is just one component of Maximus's total compensation package. Other rewards may include short- and long-term incentives as well as program-specific awards. Compensation ranges may differ based on contract value but will be commensurate with job duties and relevant work experience.
