Sr. Business Systems Analyst - Impinj

Team Overview

As we continue to grow, we are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior IT Business Systems Analyst to join our team. In this role, you will play a crucial part in supporting and improving our internal business applications, ensuring seamless operations, and optimizing business processes and performance. This role will also collaborate with developers, vendors, and 3rd party support teams.

What you will do:

• Application Support:
• Provide day-to-day operational support for internal line of business applications, ensuring high availability and minimal disruption to business operations
• Troubleshoot application issues reported by end-users, analyze problems, and implement timely and effective solutions
• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including developers, system administrators, and business stakeholders, to resolve application-related problems efficiently
• System Enhancements and Upgrades:
• Work closely with business stakeholders to gather requirements, analyze business processes, and identify opportunities for system improvements
• Collaborate with development teams to translate business requirements into functional specifications and system designs
• Participate in the testing and validation of system enhancements and upgrades, ensuring they meet business requirements and adhere to established quality standards
• Business Process Analysis and Optimization:
• Conduct thorough analysis of existing business processes and workflows to identify areas for optimization and automation
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to identify pain points, gather feedback, and propose solutions to streamline operations
• Develop and document detailed business process models, including "as-is" and "to-be" states, to guide system enhancements and drive process improvements
• Documentation and Training:
• Create and maintain comprehensive documentation of system configurations, business rules, and procedures to ensure accurate knowledge transfer and support continuity
• Develop training materials and conduct user training sessions to promote effective system utilization and increase end-user proficiency
• Provide ongoing user support and assistance, addressing inquiries and clarifying system functionalities as needed
• Project Coordination:
• Act as a project liaison between business stakeholders, development teams, and other IT professionals to ensure effective communication and collaboration
• Assist in project planning and coordination activities, including requirements gathering, resource allocation, and project tracking
• Monitor project timelines, milestones, and deliverables to ensure successful project execution and timely completion

What you will bring:

• Bachelor's degree in information technology, Computer Science, or a related field (or equivalent work experience)
• 5+ years proven experience as a Business Systems Analyst or similar role supporting internal line of business applications
• 3+ years analyzing and documenting complex business requirements within finance and operations organizations
• 3+ years supporting applications under SOX compliance, directly owning evidence collection and audit activity
• Solid knowledge of SDLC (Software Development Life Cycle) methodologies and best practices and familiarity with IT enterprise process standards and regulations (e.g. ITIL, Lean, PCI, SOX)
• Experience with system configuration, testing, and troubleshooting
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking abilities
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders
• Self-motivated with a strong attention to detail and the ability to work independently
• Proven background collaborating with multi-functional teams such as Finance, Sales & Marketing, and Operations

Desirable Qualifications

• Experience supporting D365 F&O, Salesforce, ADP Workforce Now, Concur and/or similar business applications
• Experience with Transact-SQL and data warehousing
• Experience with programming languages and scripting:  C#, PowerShell, Python

Compensation and Benefits:

The benefits listed below may vary depending on the nature of your employment with Impinj and the country where you work.

The typical base pay range for this role across the US is $99,000 - $151,000. Individual base pay depends on various factors such as complexity and responsibility of role, job duties, requirements, and relevant experience and skills. Both market wage data and the mid-point of the pay range is reviewed and used as the starting point for all new hire offers. Offers are made within the base pay range applicable at the time.

At Impinj certain roles are eligible for additional rewards, including merit increases, annual bonus and stock. These awards are allocated based on individual performance. In addition, certain roles also have the opportunity to earn sales incentives based on revenue or utilization, depending on the terms of the plan and the employee's role.
