A South Bay manufacturer is looking for a Senior Cost Accounting Manager for their team. In this role, the Senior Cost Accounting Manager will be responsible for cost of goods manufactured, working closely with operations and supply chain teams, and assisting with driving process improvements. What do you need for this Senior Cost Accounting Manager role?
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or related field
- 12+ years of cost accounting experience
- Advanced Excel
- Must have industry related/aligned experience
- Forecasting for operations, operating expenses, and other cost of sales
- Verify and calculate the net present value of future projects
- Coordination of capital projects
- Budget vs actuals analysis
- Analyze manufacturing costs, inventory and expenses
- Improve operational productivity
- Reduce cost of quality
