Sr. Data Architect - Krispy Kreme

Since its founding in 1937, Krispy Kreme's focus has remained the same - making fresh doughnuts using our founder's original recipe. The brand's iconic Hot Light lets consumers know when doughnuts are being made in the shop so they can stop in and enjoy them hot, right off the line.

The Senior Data Architect will be responsible for defining and implementing the global data strategy for Krispy Kreme. This role requires a deep understanding of data architecture, data management, and data governance. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of designing and implementing data solutions in a large, complex organization.

A TASTE OF WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING:

• Define and implement the global data strategy for Krispy Kreme.
• Design and develop data architecture solutions that meet the needs of the business.
• Ensure data integrity, security, and availability across the organization.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into data solutions.
• Develop and maintain data models, data flow diagrams, and other documentation.
• Help establish and enforce data governance policies and procedures.
• Lead data integration and data migration projects.
• Stay current with industry trends and best practices in data architecture and data management.
• Driving the standards for Data Quality across multiple data-sets and driving for data trust across enterprise.
• Working with business partners to define ways to leverage data to develop platforms and solutions to drive business growth.

YOUR RECIPE FOR SUCCESS:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. A Master's degree is preferred.
• 10+ years of experience in data architecture, data management, or a related field.
• Strong knowledge of data modeling, data warehousing, and data integration techniques.
• Experience with cloud-based data platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
• Experience with AI/ML and LLMs.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Experience with data governance and data security best practices.
• Experience in a global, publicly traded company preferred.
• Knowledge of global data regulations and compliance requirements preferred.
