Responsibilities :
- You will translate the business requirements into technical specifications using logical and critical thinking skills. You will profile data, join them, cleanse them, and build data products that meet the business requirements.
- You will troubleshoot and resolve issues related to data quality, data incompleteness, and data pipeline. You will have the ability to identify the root cause of poor code performance and resolve them through code optimization, modifying data structures, and configuration changes.
- You will support multiple ongoing projects in a fast-paced environment across a global company You should be comfortable with the design and implementation of any stage of an end-to-end data pipeline, including data ingestion, processing, transformation, and storage.
Required Skills:
- A willingness to learn business processes, systems, and the technologies used.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills essential. The ability to work with Product Owners and Stakeholders to reach consensus during design and development is crucial. You will need to clearly explain data nuances, data quality issues, and limitations to non-technical colleagues.
- The ability to read complex SQL or Python queries, understand them, and modify them for efficiency and readability.
- A minimum of 8 years of experience in data engineering or related roles, with a solid background in data warehousing, data modeling, data access, and data storage techniques.
- Proficiency in SQL or Python with at least 8 years of experience.
- Experience with cloud platforms such as Databricks, Azure and proficiency in cloud services such as Azure Data Factory.
