Sr. Event Producer
The Meeting + Event Solutions team at the SF Fed has a fantastic opportunity for a Sr. Event Producer. The Sr. Event Producer, is responsible for planning, producing, and executing a dynamic scope of events, aligned to the San Francisco Fed’s mission, vision, culture and objectives. Events will naturally vary in scale and scope, and may be in-person, virtual, and/or hybrid. As a Sr. Event Producer, you’ll be joining a team that takes great pride in producing event experiences tailored for a range of internal and external audiences and will have the opportunity to strategize with every area of the Bank to ensure conferences, events, and meetings hosted by each team are thoughtful, inspiring, inclusive, and engaging.
You will use your project management skills to coordinate all moving parts, including understanding the business partner’s objectives and formulating a proposal; monitoring schedules and hosting regular status meetings; facilitating rehearsals and tech checks; and testing and validating all logistical elements. Finally, you will bring the experience to life as you oversee the day-of engagement production activities that deliver on strategic objectives and exceed business partner and attendee expectations.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Interpret business partner’s needs and conceptualize overall engagement strategy to develop, promote and deliver the in-person, virtual and hybrid event experience.
- Establish business partner and attendee objectives, define logistical and technical solutions, and assign production roles and responsibilities.
- Orchestrate day-of execution of all services, including room setup, food and beverage, coordinating talent, producers, technologists, and business partners; launching and hosting digital production tools; and managing program elements and engagement flow.
- Source and contract venues and vendors and lead site visits to capture vision and engagement objectives.
- Produce and manage a variety of events and productions throughout the year that include event strategy, event planning and production, site selection and venue management, event survey and evaluation, food and beverage management and all event operational logistics for in-person, virtual or hybrid experiences.
Requirements:
- Typically requires four or more years of progressive experience in live (in person and virtual) event production experience in a corporate or government environment.
- Bachelor’s degree in Meeting and Event Management, Marketing and Communications, or a related field or equivalent work experience.
- Advanced understanding of planning live, in-person events with specialized depth and breadth of expertise.
- Proficiency in consulting, interpreting business partner needs, engagement management, resource management and vendor management.
- A creative mind that challenges the status quo and seeks unique approaches to planning experiences that engage, excite and entertain.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills and ability to interact with various audiences and executives throughout the Federal Reserve System.
- Advanced problem-solving abilities, attention to detail and a strong desire to help others.
- Ability to track multiple meeting and event programs with a wide range of deliverables as they proceed from design through execution in a fast-paced, high-change environment.
- Positive and proactive self-starter and collaborator who can manage and prioritize competing priorities and tight deadlines.
- Experience with variety of event technologies and tools such as Cvent, venue management and engagement applications a plus.
Los Angeles Base Salary Range: Min: $61,300 - Mid: $79,600 - Max: $97,900
San Francisco Base Salary Range: Min: $67,300 - Mid: $87,400 - Max: $107,500
Final salary and offer will be determined by the applicant’s background, experience, skills, internal equity, and alignment with geographic and other market data.
