Sr. Human Factors Design Engineer - Primary Talent Partners

Primary Talent Partners has a 12 month contract opening for a Sr. Human Factors Design Engineer to join a multinational medical device company for a fully remote position. 

Pay: $50.00/hr - $60.00/hr based on experience 
Contract: 12 months, extensions likely, conversion possible
Type: W-2, Cannot support C2C or provide visa sponsorship

Summary:
We are seeking a Sr. Human Factors Design Engineer to join our team in support of our Neuromodulation product portfolio, including Deep Brain Stimulation (DBS) and Spinal Cord Stimulation (SCS).

Responsibilities:

• The 3 main responsibilities / day to day activities in this role include using Error Analysis, Usability Testing, and authoring FDA/EU-MDR compliance documentation
• Applies human performance principles, methodologies, and technologies to the design of humanmachine systems and products.
• Develops and implements research methodologies and statistical analysis plans to test and evaluate developmental prototypes used in all phases of products development and processes.
• Designs and executes tests to simulate product use for the purposes of concept selection/refinement, requirements development, userelated risk identification and formal usability validation with intended users. Interfaces with design engineers to establish system design, operating, and training requirements and to ensure optimized humanmachine interfaces.
• Identifies and analyzes technological problems or risks, performs theoretical human factors investigations, and develops and implements research and analysis plans

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in relevant discipline is required. 
• Senior-level, 5-10 years of experience is required.
• Medical Device Human Factors Engineering (CRITICAL) is required.
• Systems or Biomedical Engineering.
• System Safety.
