Job Description*This position is a hybrid role that requires in office on Tuesdays and Thursdays at 1200 Binz St Suite 1490 Houston TX 77004. Mon, Wed, and Fri are typically work from home but subject to change. This role also travels to care centers 20% of the time in the Houston, Austin, San Antonio and Corpus Christi markets *
The HR Generalist manages the functioning, billing, and relationships with all of our benefits and benefit carriers. They will carry out responsibilities in the functional areas of employee relations, onboarding, policy implementation, employment law compliance, and recruiting for the Privia Medical Group care centers. The HR Generalist works closely with senior management in supporting and initiating HR and company efforts. The HR Generalist maintains positive and productive relationships with all Employees, Managers, and vendors and focuses on attention to detail to ensure accuracy in their work.
Primary Job Duties:
Provides day-to-day support to legacy care centers for HR, policy, and benefit-related questions and promptly responds to stakeholder concerns
Maintains HRIS and data records for accuracy and compliance and compiles reports Participates in benefits strategic planning, facilitates Open Enrollment meetings and office events for Gulf Coast Market
Provides full cycle recruitment for openings at legacy care centers
Manages onboarding and termination procedures for legacy care centers
Coordinates all Health Fairs and Wellness programs for Houston office and legacy care centers
Manages benefit administration, broker partnerships, and open enrollment functions for multiple office locations across the market (Houston, Austin, San Antonio and Corpus Christi) that include coordinating meetings and facilitating events
Provides employee relations support for needs such as performance management and terminations; administers exit paperwork, out-processing, and exit interviewing
Assists in Partner-centered initiatives to achieve employee engagement goals
Participates in creating department goals and objectives
Serve as a frontline liaison with vendors/suppliers
Administers HR plans and procedures for all PMG GC legacy care centers
Advise legacy care centers on best practices and provides full scope of HR services
Assists in evaluation of reports, decisions, and results of department in relation to established goals; recommends new approaches, policies, and procedures to affect continual improvements in efficiency of the department and services performed.
Perform other duties as assigned
Bachelor’s degree preferred
At least 5 years of human resources experience preferably in a healthcare environment
PHR or SPHR Certification preferred
Proficient in a variety of computer software systems, specifically Google Sheets/Excel, Google Docs/Word, and Google Slides
Excellent attention to detail in composing/proofing materials, establishing priorities, and meeting deadlines
Excellent communication skills with strong English grammar and business writing skills
Project management experience
Must comply with HIPAA rules and regulations
The salary range for this role is $70,000 to $80,000 in base pay. This role is also eligible for an annual bonus targeted at 15% and restricted stock units based on performance in the role. The base pay offered will be determined based on relevant factors such as experience, education, and geographic location.
