Must-Have Skills:

• Windows Server Expertise: Extensive experience managing Windows Server environments, both on-premises and in the cloud.
• Core Infrastructure Skills: Proven track record in patching, backups, migrations, and Active Directory implementation.
• Application Support: Comfortable supporting diverse applications including Java, .NET, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics, and Warehouse technologies.
• Security Focus: Familiarity with security tools like Tenable, experience with SCCM, and proficiency in server security configurations.
• Networking Knowledge: Strong understanding of networking concepts, including OSI layers and protocols.
• Disaster Recovery: Experience crafting and executing DR plans.

Responsibilities:

• Windows Server Management: Maintain and optimize Windows Server environments in hybrid settings.
• Infrastructure Guidance: Provide expertise on disaster recovery, uptime management, and infrastructure best practices.
• Patch Management: Perform regular patching and updates to maintain system security and stability, utilizing tools like SCCM for automation.
• Backup and Recovery: Oversee backup operations and ensure effective recovery processes for mission-critical systems.
• Server Migrations: Plan and execute server migrations, including cloud transitions.
• Application Support: Provide server-level support and troubleshooting for production applications across various technologies (.NET, Java, SQL, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics, etc.).
• Security: Utilize security tools like Tenable to manage vulnerabilities and implement robust server security configurations.
• Disaster Recovery: Develop and maintain DR plans to minimize downtime and data loss.
• Networking: Leverage networking knowledge to troubleshoot and optimize infrastructure connectivity.
• Collaboration: Work effectively with cross-functional teams to address infrastructure needs and support application deployment.
