Sr. Legal Billing Coordinator - HumanHire

HumanHire is partnered with a top ranked global Law Firm to find a Sr. Billing Coordinator to join the firms growing team in Midtown, NYC.

The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in managing the billing process, ensuring accuracy and compliance with legal billing standards, and providing exceptional service to attorneys and clients alike.

• Pay: $100-115K Base Salary plus OT and Bonus (5-10% bonus!)

Responsibilities:

• Oversee the end-to-end billing process for attorneys, including preparing, reviewing, and finalizing client invoices.
• Ensure all invoices are compliant with firm policies, client requirements, and legal regulations.
• Collaborate with attorneys to resolve billing discrepancies, answer inquiries, and provide guidance on billing matters.
• Maintain and update billing procedures and guidelines to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
• Prepare and analyze billing reports, providing insights to management on billing trends and practices.
• Assist in training and mentoring junior billing staff, fostering a collaborative team environment.

Qualifications:

• 3+ years of Law Firm Billing experience
• Proficiency in Legal Billing Software - Elite 3E or Aderant preferred
