About the Job
The Allocation Sr. Manager will oversee and develop the allocation team while supporting the Club Monaco Stores business inclusive of the US, Canada, UK & Outlet stores. This person is responsible for executing the strategic initiatives within their division; while analyzing, identifying and communicating sales opportunities and providing risk-mitigating recommendations. Reporting to the Senior Director of Merchandise Planning & Allocation, this individual will work with the Distribution Centers, Field leads, Planning, Visual and Operation teams to execute allocation strategies.
Allocation & Inventory Management Responsibilities
• Create allocation strategies and provide recommendations that support the sales plan.
• Run weekly reporting to aid in business analysis and strategy development, report out results to cross functional teams
• Execute monthly initial rollout; ensures consistent and profitable in-season replenishment
• Support growth of 365/year round product offer with the team through size balancing, model stocks and replenishment recommendations
• Build and maintain weekly allocation forecasts at the location level.
• Manage communication with the distribution center, including outbound and inbound forecasting
• Partner with Planning & Merchandising to understand & execute omni-channel inventory distribution strategies
• Develop thorough knowledge of regional, district and store level performance through data analysis and field partnership
• Partner with Merchandising and Planning to create store segmentation for product capsules, testing strategies and other initiatives
• Lead distribution meetings, attend business reviews, product reviews, store visits and other business meetings as needed
• Collaborate with store operations to build efficient and effective merchandise deliveries for initials and replenishment
• Collaborate with field leadership to diagnose product and store planning opportunities, utilizing store visits to cultivate relationships
• Establish cross-functional relationships to promote best practices and process adherence, fostering teamwork
Requirements
• Bachelors degree required
• 5-7 years allocation experience, 1-2 years management experience
• MS Office: Excel (vlookups, pivot tables), Outlook, Word
• Strong numerical and analytical skills, attention to detail
• Excellent interpersonal skills supporting a team environment
• Excellent English communication skills - verbal and written
• Strong planning and organizational skills with a sense of priority for deadlines and attention to detail
• Experience with JDA or other Allocation systems (required), Power BI & Microsoft D365
For individuals assigned and/or hired to work in New York, Club Monaco includes a reasonable estimate of the salary or hourly rate range for this role. This accounts for the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions; including but not limited to business or organizational needs, skill sets, experience and training, licensure, and certifications.
A reasonable estimate of the current compensation is $110,000 - $120,000 annually.
