Leadman & Associates is looking for a Sr. Manager, People Business Partner/HR Manager to make a significant impact within our client's manufacturing plant located in the Fort Smith, AR area (relo package + sign on bonus eligible for relocations). You will report to the Sr. Director, People Business Partner, North American Operations.

The role offers the opportunity to be a strategic and tactical leader, driving organizational development, talent acquisition, people support, employee experience, and administrative initiatives at the plant.
In this role, you will:
- Lead talent initiatives, succession planning, performance management, and calibration programs
- Collaborate with the Talent Acquisition team to attract and hire high-quality talent, ensuring organizational fit and alignment with DEI priorities
- Provide guidance, coaching, and data-driven recommendations to employees and managers, addressing concerns, and fostering a strong culture
- Manage employee relations, ensure compliance, analyze engagement survey results, and implement initiatives to boost morale, engagement, and recognition
- Propose enhancements to people processes, ensure adherence to headcount budgets, maintain accurate people data in HRIS, and utilize tools for efficient data management
- Manage special projects related to organizational design, program rollouts, restructures, talent initiatives, and learning programs
The ideal candidate will have:
- Bachelor's degree (Master's preferred)
- 5+ years of HR generalist/talent experience (7+ years in a manufacturing environment)
- Strong business acumen, manufacturing client focus, excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to build relationships across all levels of the organization
- Proven experience developing strong partnerships with key stakeholders
- Understanding of TQM, Lean Manufacturing principles, and Organizational Design would be an asset
