As the Sr. Manager of User Experience (UX) Design in PXT TA Products, you will create the best-in-class digital experiences for candidates and internal Amazonians in building the technology-enabled recruitment process for Amazon. Key job responsibilities
The Sr. Manager, UX Design at Amazon PXT is a strategic role. You will be the lead storyteller to create the organization-wide vision and design strategy to evolve Amazon's recruiting experience for people. You be a critical thought partner to the TA delivery organization, engineering, and product teams, and will lead research and design for consumer grade experiences for corporate recruitment. Along with setting directions, you will also participate in design deep-dives, and specific solution-building. You will grow, coach/guide a team of designers and researchers to deliver bigger, faster. In this role, you will use your experience designing enterprise software and services to bring to life complex workflows, wireframes, user interface designs, interaction models, and prototypes.
As a successful candidate for the role, you have -
- Track record of success in shipping large scale, high-impact products, fast, in iterative fashion
- Experience in leading the E2E UX lifecycle, with requirements, journey mapping, facilitating design sessions, and leading rapid prototyping
- A domain-based approach to problem-solving
- Been a simplifier
- Experience leading technology design mechanisms and building cross-functional partnerships
- Balanced between deep thinking/strategy work and rapid execution
- Been a proponent of accessible and inclusive design

Basic Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in UX Design, Business or related field
- 10+ years of Design experience
- 5+ years of experience leading high performing teams
- Experience with best practices for User Interface Design, Information Architecture, and Interaction Design
Preferred Qualifications
Preferred Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience leading design and research work
- Have an available online portfolio
- Experience designing and prototyping with tools such as Sketch, Figma, Photoshop, Illustrator, Axure, Keynote, and InVision
- Presented design or research papers in industry conferences
- Post-graduate degree

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $162,300/year in our lowest geographic market up to $268,400/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
