Sr. Manufacturing Process Engineer - (92487) - Sanmina

We are currently recruiting highly qualified candidates, whose background and career goals meet our needs, for the following position in our Huntsville, AL facility. Please note that due to our Department of Defense contract requirements, U.S. CITIZENSHIP IS REQUIRED. 

Sr. Manufacturing Process Engineer

• Develops, implements and maintains methods and processes in the manufacture or fabrication of, sub-assemblies and final assemblies
• Write/Edit/Develop training programs for new processes
• Write/Edit SOP and Process Work Instructions
• Support Production Automation Programming/Debug
• Tooling procurement, design and development
• Thermal Profiling in support of manufacturing
• Interfaces with design engineering in coordinating the release of new products
• Estimates manufacturing cost and makes recommendations for tooling and process requirements of new or existing product lines
• Write/Edit/Develop preventative maintenance and calibration procedures and schedules for new equipment
• Performs DFx
• Submits Capital Equipment Requisition Justifications/Specifications
• Evaluates new process chemistries, process tools, process equipment and process methods
• Mentor and work with Engineers, Associate Engineers and technicians. 
• Other relevant duties as assigned by Management

Education and Experience

• • 8+ years’ experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field or years of experience in lieu of degree
