The Headlines:
In the role of Sr. People Development Specialist working in Milwaukee, Wisconsin you will be part of the Americas People Development team. You will lead the design, development, and execution of function specific development programs and continuous improvement learning initiatives for the Supply Chain organization based on their priorities and needs.
This position reports to the Director of People Development – Supply Chain and works closely with manufacturing facility Learning and Development teams, business leaders, project managers and subject matter experts to build and embed people development capabilities into the business.
The Responsibilities:
+ Partner with stakeholders to understand capability needs, build relevant learning and development programs and content to embed capabilities into the business and monitor the effectiveness and impact.
+ Execute learning delivery strategies and standards to ensure quality, consistency, efficiency, and effectiveness.
+ Lead and monitor Supply Chain program effectiveness, and continuously improve to maximize business impact.
+ Build capability in plant Learning and Development Teams and Supply Chain SMEs through coaching, facilitation, and best practice sharing
+ Stay current in best practices and trends for adult learning, instructional design, and program management
+ Liaise with vendors and people development team to ensure vendor solutions meet business needs.
+ Collaborate with people development team and support prioritized projects and development initiatives.
+ Provide input on the way we evolve the First Choice Learning Center brand and purpose within the organization and stay current with best practices and trends for adult learning.
The Other Qualifications:
+ You have a bachelor’s degree in human resources/related field and/or equivalent experience
+ You have at least 4 years of progressive experience in HR, Learning and Development and/or building effective learning solutions and programs that include adult learning principles, and deliver the desired outcomes and impact.
+ Experience working in Manufacturing, Supply Chain and/or CPG operations organizations preferred
+ You embody a client service mindset and operate as a value-added business partner with a solution orientation.
+ You have experience working in a matrix environment and managing vendors.
+ You love a challenge. You complete complex projects quickly and adeptly with your understanding of the business priorities.
+ You exercise discernment and discipline in managing asks and priorities.
+ You build relationships and collaborate to get to the desired outcome.
+ You take accountability for results – acting with integrity and honoring commitments.
+ You have a thirst for learning – you are always looking for ways to learn and help one another grow.
