About the Job
Summary: Seeking a Sr. Project Engineer and Sr. Project Manager with Commercial Aerospace experience to lead Flight Data Recorder projects, ensuring compliance with DO-254 standards.
Job Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in engineering or related technical field
Minimum of 8 years of experience
Mastery in Commercial Avionics and DAL-A Compliance
US Citizenship with the ability to obtain a clearance
Preferred Skills:
Knowledge and significant experience in multiple engineering disciplines
Job Responsibilities:
Lead Flight Data Recorder project execution
Complete design, development, verification, and certification per DO-254 and DO-178
Manage specifications, requirements, and designs with cost considerations
Coordinate engineering resources for aligned development efforts
Control product configuration through design efforts
Resolve technical problems on time and within budget
Act as primary contact between Engineering and Program Management
Ensure compliance with documented processes for components and materials
Provide input on budget, cost, and schedule for design assignments
Independently define and complete technical projects
Troubleshoot designs for performance issues and new business opportunities
Supervise evaluation of supplier components, subsystems, and services
Support program design to cost/manufacture requirements
Communicate clearly with manufacturing, supply chain, program management, and customers
Pay Details: $140,000.00 to $160,000.00 per year
