Sr. Software Engineer at AKKODIS

Akkodis is seeking a Sr. Software Engineer for a Contract job with a client in Charlotte, NC (Hybrid). This role requires translating complex business requirements into logical program designs and collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure the delivery of scalable and maintainable software solutions.

 

Rate Range: $80/hour to $85/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

 

Sr. Software Engineer job responsibilities include:

• Translate complex cross-functional business requirements and functional specifications into logical program designs, code modules, and stable application systems.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure specifications are converted into flexible, scalable, and maintainable solution designs, evaluating project deliverables for compliance with specifications and architectural standards.

• Coordinate and participate in component integration testing (CIT), systems integration testing (SIT), and user acceptance testing (UAT) to identify application errors and ensure quality software deployment.

• Engage in all software development lifecycle phases, applying and sharing in-depth understanding of methodologies, policies, standards, and controls.

• Leverage knowledge of software design patterns and application architecture to make technical trade-off decisions and solve complex architecture/design and business problems.

• Automate and simplify team development, testing, and operations processes to enhance efficiency.

• Develop detailed architecture plans for large-scale enterprise projects and drive these plans to successful implementation.

• Identify and implement optimizations to simplify and enhance the extensibility of solutions while addressing bottlenecks in the application development process.

 

Desired Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Computer Information Systems, or a related field.

• A minimum of 5 years of experience in software development or a related field.

• At least 4 years of experience with database technologies.

• Proven experience working on projects involving the implementation of solutions that apply development life cycles (SDLC).

Pay Details: $80.00 to $85.00 per hour
