We are looking for a Sr. Planner to aid fortune 500 companies in developing shopper and brand promotions strategy. The Sr. Planner serves as a key member of the agency team collaborating with account service, channel marketing and creative teams to develop a framework for strategic solutions and building positive relationships with clients. This role leads the consumer understanding and strategic framework development for their account in both shopper and brand marketing.
The Sr. Planner oversees the development of insight, strategy and planning of shopper marketing programs. He/she is an important contributor to the overall strategic direction of the account. The Sr. Planner, partners with Account, Creative and Interagency colleagues to effectively plan programs, ensuring that they deliver the best product, and contribute significantly to the Client’s business. With experience grounded in Retail and Digital/Shopper activation strategies, the Sr. Planner will be well poised to help teams navigate toward successful programs.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Provide strategic thought leadership in the development of brand and shopper promotions
- Synthesize qualitative and quantitative data from all available sources to provide strategic implications and creative inspiration
- Lead creative briefing process and own the development of an insightful and inspiring creative brief
- Confidently interact with clients and agency partners on multi-agency teams
- Mentor the development of junior staff through education and ongoing informal and formal performance feedback
