Staff Accountant
Currently seeking a Staff Accountant for one of Central Oregon’s Largest Companies. The ideal candidate will possess a Bachelor’s degree or 5 years of recent accounting experience as a staff or senior accountant, preferable in the financial services or real estate industry. Responsibilities of the Staff Accountant
- Maintain monthly and quarterly accounting for the different company entities
- Monthly reconciliation of sub-ledgers to general ledgers
- Booking of journal entries relating to daily operations and month-end closing
- Accrual, amortization, and depreciation schedules
- Assist in preparation of yearly financial audits
- Work with CPA to prepare year end tax filings, distribution of 1099’s, 1098’s and K-1s
- Manage draw cycle, schedule inspections, approving budgeted items, collect lien releases, and calculate payoffs for loans
- Accounts Receivable and Accounts payable
- Other duties as assigned
Requirements of the Staff Accountant
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Math, or related field is required
- 5 or more years of accounting experience as a staff accountant, preferable in the financial services or real estate industry
- Advanced proficiency with MS Excel to include Vlookup, pivot tables, complex formulas
- Recent experience with QuickBooks Pro and Online version
- Ability to establish and maintain strong, effective working relationships
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Flexible and adaptable to work in a fast-paced environment
- Professional and self-starter
- Financial analysis and planning are a plus not required

Compensation / Pay Rate (Up to): $26.00 - $29.00
