Staff Accountant at Nesco Resource, LLC

Industry leader in the North Country is growing their local accounting department.  Our client, who has almost doubled in size in the last 5 years, is offering a collaborative work environment, good quality of life, significant advancement potential, and competitive compensation packages.   
 
Primary responsibilities would include:
- Assist the Controller with the day-to-day, monthly and year-end financial statements
- Perform the processing and recording of accounts payable transactions and ensure that all invoices and staff reimbursements are paid accurately
- Manage the processing of cash receipts, recording of revenue and receivables
- Perform general accounts analysis and reconciliations including bank reconciliations.
- Special projects as they assigned
 
Candidate profile should include:
- Bachelors Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; Associates Degree will be considered
- 1+ years of experience in public or corporate accounting;
- Experience in MS Office, intermediate to advanced Excel skills preferred
- Strong organizational and communicative skills
