YOUR CONTRIBUTIONS MATTER

As our Staff Accountant, you'll be on a mission to ensure that every expense is meticulously coded, vendor statements are reviewed with a keen eye and payments are made on a timely basis. But wait, there's more! You'll also be involved in calculating commissions, monthly reporting, bank reconciliations, and contributing to financial statement preparation. And just when you thought it couldn't get any better, you'll have the chance to unravel the mysteries of customer communication, dive into the world of budgeting, and embark on thrilling special projects with the Controller.

WHAT'S REQUIRED?

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance
• 5+ years of progressively responsible roles
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Advanced knowledge of Excel and QuickBooks
• Ability to work with minimal supervision and to meet communicated schedules and deadlines
• Thorough Knowledge of basic accounting procedures, in-depth understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)
• Experience with general ledger functions and the month-end/year-end close process

Although not required, being a current Beaufort County resident is preferred!
