Essential Job Functions :
The primary role of this position is to maintain general ledger accounts, process Accounts Receivable/Accounts Payable and prepare various accounting and financial reports (e.g. intercompany transactions, vendor payments, and meeting materials. To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential function satisfactorily. - Processes vendor invoices and employee reimbursements by obtaining authorization of payment
- Prepares invoices for customers and affiliated companies
- Positive, driven, professional and solution-oriented approach to daily workload
- Strong critical thinking skills to include problem solving to research and analyze complex challenges
- Demonstrate high level support while maintaining a positive and professional approach
- Reconciles customer and vendor accounts
- Records the expenses for tax payments and prepares tax forms
- Maintains and files accounting documents
- Prepare month end closing and fiscal year end closing
- Prepare annual 1099 statements; update and maintain vendor records
- Perform general account reconciliations including bank statements, fixed assets, accruals and prepaid expenses
- Assist in audit preparation
- Review internal processes and controls (e.g. travel reimbursement related issues, confirming the physical existence of fixed assets) for the purpose of ensuring financial information is properly reported
- Prepare, review and analyze the monthly budget to actual variance reports
- Ability to work efficiently and accurately to meet critical deadlines
- Proficiency in computer applications including Microsoft Word and Excel
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Perform other duties as assigned

Minimum Requirements :
- Bachelor's degree in accounting, Finance, or Business-related discipline preferred.
- Intermediate to advanced Excel knowledge.
- Good human relations skills, strong verbal and written communication skills required.
- Well-developed problem-solving skills and ability to develop conceptual alternatives.
- Must possess advanced mathematical and analytical skills.
- Attention to detail and accuracy.
- Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize workload in order to meet reporting deadlines.
