Staff Accountant II - Virtual Company

About the Job
As a Staff Accountant, the primary responsibilities are:
- Assist with monthly close process, including preparation and recording of general ledger entries
- Preparation of month end reconciliations
- Proactive account analysis to identify trends, issues, or errors
- Assist in preparation for various audits throughout the year
- Inventory and Fixed Asset management
We are looking for someone that has experience with business process optimization and redesign experience, a solid understanding of A/R and A/P sub ledger management, tax experience, ability to assist with financial statement preparation, intercompany activity, ability to assist with the day to day accounting transactions and related activities.
This position requires strong organization skills, ability to communicate effectively and professionally with our internal and external customers, the ability to multitask and someone who is self-motivated with great work ethic.
The position will be based out of the main office in Cincinnati.
Job Requirements
Candidates must possess:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or higher.
- 3+ years of accounting experience.
- Proficient in MS Office with a strong emphasis in advanced Excel applications.
- Ability to interact with internal/external clients in a positive and professional manner.
- Ability to work safely with minimal supervision.
