We are seeking a Staff Accountant at our Corporate Office in Longwood, Florida. The Staff Accountant will prepare financial reports to track the Accounts Receivable and Cash position and other related financial activities, as well as assist with special projects and analysis.

What You Will Do:

• Prepare and analyze the monthly bank reconciliations for all accounts using generally accepted accounting principles.
• Analyze cash balance and ensure proper posting of entries daily. Complete Positive Pay review and any adjustments daily.
• Work with Regional Controller to document and record adjustments, including refunds, write offs and credits. Communicate with Division Management and Controllers to complete the necessary adjustments.
• Oversight and maintenance of the Unapplied Cash and Customer Advances account.
• Analyze Accounts Receivable aging and follow up with locations regarding collection updates.
• Prepare Accounts Receivable roll forward monthly.
• Oversee uncollectible AR accounts and record any adjustments to allowance accounts.

What You Will Bring:

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or related discipline preferred.
• 2-5 years of accounting experience preferred.
• Superb analytical and organizational skills.
• Must demonstrate ability to prioritize multiple work assignments based upon company needs and manage time to complete those assignments with minimal supervision.
• Highly proficient with accounting software. Experience with Sage 300 and Cash Management system is highly preferred.
