What You'll Do:
- Prepare and analyze financial statements in accordance with GAAP.
- Manage accounts payable/receivable, general ledger reconciliation, and month-end close processes.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local tax regulations.
- Assist in the preparation of annual budgets and financial forecasting.
- Maintain and monitor internal controls and financial policies.
- Support external audits by preparing necessary documentation.
What You Bring:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (required).
- At least 2-5 years of accounting experience, ideally within a corporate or public accounting setting.
- Strong proficiency in accounting software (experience with QuickBooks, Sage, or similar tools is a plus).
- Solid understanding of GAAP, financial reporting, and tax regulations.
- Excellent attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to meet deadlines.
- Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written.
