They are seeking a Staff Accountant that will work alongside Accounting leaders and the owners invest in their employees.
Salary/Hourly Rate:
$70,000 – $80,000
Position Overview:
The Staff Accountant will play a key role in maintaining financial records, performing reconciliations, and supporting the month-end close process
This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated Staff Accountant professional looking to grow their career in accounting.
Responsibilities of the Staff Accountant:
Maintain general ledger accounts and prepare journal entries
Assist in month-end close processes, including reconciliations and financial reporting
Review and process accounts payable and accounts receivable
Prepare financial statements and reports for management review
Assist with budgeting and forecasting processes
Collaborate with the accounting team to ensure accurate financial data
Perform other duties as assigned related to the role
Qualifications for the Staff Accountant:
2+ years of accounting experience, with a focus on full-cycle accounting
Construction experience preferred but not required
Proficiency in an ERP system preferred
Strong knowledge of GAAP and accounting principles
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Education Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is required
