The current processing time for an export control license is approximately 4 to 6 months.Your employment or engagement with Infinera shall be contingent on verifying your eligibility or requirement for obtaining a necessary license and/or authorization from the appropriate agency
You will be required to provide certain information for export control compliance assessment purposes, and your information will be reviewed by Infinera's hiring and export control teams to ensure compliance with the U.S

The individual will work with component design, system, and optical architecture engineering teams and engage in coherent and direct-detect optical module test, design validation, and process evaluation for current and next generation versatile pluggable modules in a fast-paced environment.ResponsibilitiesLead high-speed, coherent and direct-detect optical module and sub-assembly test and RF test set developmentDesign of test plans and algorithms, execution of module performance validation testsWork closely with ASIC, Photonic Integrated Circuit (PIC) and module design teams as well as system engineering group to ensure quality release of new productsKnowledge / Skills /AbilitiesWe are looking for an individual with a strong background in either optical or electronic high-speed characterization:Fundamental understanding of high-speed optoelectronic device characteristics and/or high-speed RF communication electronicsFamiliarity with coherent and/or direct-detect communication (sub)systems: modulation formats, multiplexing concepts, basic performance metrics of broadband communication systemsHands-on experience with high-speed optoelectronic device characterization techniques (e.g
