Job Summary:
We are seeking a diligent and detail-oriented Staff Accountant to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing a variety of accounting tasks, ensuring the accuracy of financial records, and providing support for financial reporting and analysis.
Key Responsibilities:
General Ledger Maintenance: Record and maintain general ledger entries, ensuring all financial data is accurate and up-to-date.
Accounts Payable & Receivable: Manage and process accounts payable and receivable transactions, ensuring timely and accurate payments and collections.
Reconciliations: Perform monthly, quarterly, and annual reconciliations of bank accounts, credit cards, and other financial accounts.
Financial Reporting: Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports.
Budget Support: Aid in the development of budgets and financial forecasts, providing data and analysis as needed.
Audit Assistance: Support internal and external audits by preparing required documentation and reports.
Compliance: Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and relevant accounting standards and regulations.
Data Entry: Maintain accurate financial records through diligent data entry and record-keeping.
Variance Analysis: Conduct variance analysis to identify discrepancies and support corrective actions.
Special Projects: Participate in special projects and perform other duties as assigned by the management.
Qualifications:
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
Experience: 1-3 years of accounting experience preferred.
Skills:
Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, Oracle).
Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices.
Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Certifications: CPA or pursuing CPA certification is a plus.
Communication: Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Team Player: Ability to work collaboratively with team members and other departments.
