Responsibilities:

As a Staffing Coordinator, you will:

• Craft monthly schedules and daily assignment sheets for the nursing staff, ensuring optimal coverage.
• Assist in calculating certified hours for the nursing department to help maintain compliance.
• Collaborate with the Director of Nursing in interviewing, hiring, disciplining, and, when necessary, terminating CNAs, CMTs, and Nurses.
• Maintain meticulous attendance records for nursing employees.
• Complete Payroll Change Notices for status changes, such as hiring, termination, raises, full-time/part-time transitions, and leaves of absence.
• Perform reference checks on prospective nursing applicants.
• Keep a current, updated list of all clinical care employee contact information.
• Follow up with newly hired CNAs, CMTs, and Nurses to ensure checklist completion.
• Perform other duties as requested by the Director of Nursing (DON) or Administrator.

Requirements:

To excel in this role, you should have:

• At least 2 years of experience as a staffing coordinator in a nursing facility.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong analytical skills.
