Job DescriptionAHRC NYC is looking to hire a full-time Staffing Coordinator. The Staffing Coordinator will be responsible for providing coordinating services for an assigned caseload. The Staffing Coordinator must ensure coverage for cases on their caseload in a timely manner and ensure notification regarding service to staff and individuals receiving services and or their families. Staffing Coordinators are responsible for utilizing the systems within the Home Care Department complete their job responsibilities.
This position has a salary of $35,000- &$40,000 per year and comes with a very generous and comprehensive Benefit package...see Benefit information below.
SCHEDULE: Monday - Friday
ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
· Carry and maintain caseloads as assigned by the Supervisor.
· Enter schedules, assign staff and maintain case note in the scheduling system.
· Maintain clear and accurate documentation in the systems used by the department.
· Review visits in the scheduling and reporting systems to ensure all activities are accurately captured from the entries and notes.
· Participate as a member of an intra-departmental service delivery team.
· Monitor the direct support professional work schedules and service documentation.
· Work weekends and holidays as needed to meet the needs of the department.
· Be available for on-call responsibilities to meet the needs of the department.
· Attend all required trainings annually.
· Maintain a pleasant and professional attitude when communicating with all individuals, families, and staff.
· Participate in disciplinary actions with the direct support staff.
· Collaborate with the Compliance team to ensure accurate documentation for billing is secured.
· Provide coverage for the assigned program in the absence of other Staffing Coordinators.
· Participate in the hiring, evaluation, training, discipline and termination of direct care staff as appropriate.
· Accept other or additional responsibilities as needed to meet the needs of the department.
QualificationsQUALIFICATIONS:
- High School diploma and 2-3 years coordinating experience in home care field preferred.
- Strong computer and statistical reporting skills essential.
- Excellent interpersonal and written communication skills needed.
- Ability to effectively interact with colleagues, staff, consumers and other service stakeholders.
- The candidate must possess the ability to adequately communicate both verbally and in writing.
- Bilingual language skills a definite plus.
