About the Job
Job Summary: Responsible for processing and verifying time sheets and payroll data to ensure the correct payment of biweekly payroll to hospital employees. Monitors payroll, insuring adherence to hospital policies and procedures and collective bargaining agreements. Process payroll including data entry, proofing, auditing, and problem resolution.
Timely and accurate processing of all documents requiring data entry
Works with the Manager of Nursing Operations to resolve any payroll discrepancies
Assists staff in person, on phone, and by email, in a compassionate manner
Other duties as assigned
Requirements: High school graduate. Associate degree in secretarial field preferred.
Training and Experience: At least 2 years of payroll experience required. Computer expertise required and prior scheduling experience preferred
Special Qualifications:Experience in Kronos payroll systems is helpful. Must have good interpersonal and communication skills and be fluent in the English language. Ability to multi-task and perform capably in a pleasant manner under stress in a busy office.
Schedule: Sunday 8a-4:30p/ Weekdays 8a-3:30p / Every Other Holiday / 43 hrs per pay period
Week 1: Sun, Mon, Wed
Week 2: Mon, Thurs, Fri
