About DTMB:
The Department of Technology, Management and Budget (DTMB) (https://youtu.be/H_IrVnVjcoA) supports the business operations of state agencies through a variety of services, including building management and maintenance, information technology, centralized contracting and procurement, budget and financial management, space planning and leasing, construction management, motor vehicle fleet operations, and oversight of the state retirement systems.
About the position:
This position will function as an administrative manager for CSS - End User Support - MIECC within the Department of Technology, Management and Budget primary over the Enterprise Contact Call Center Team. The manager is responsible for providing direction and control of functions and activities in the work area including establishing priorities and handling administrative, supervisory, and planning functions.
This State Administrative Manager works with agency staff to plan and schedule system support, report project and program status and set priorities. In addition, this position requires close coordination with the agencies and the other units of Agency Services Team serving the agency business operations. This position will also develop MIECC processes, ensure team roles and responsibilities are communicated and followed. Lead all initiatives involving MIECC performance data and information exchange either automated or process related. Work with the other parts of Agency Services and Infrastructure & Operations to develop clear processes and lines of responsibility in the event of an outage, so lines of responsibility and processes to be followed for all priority levels (low, medium, high) are followed. Follow up after an event to ensure process was followed and make improvements as needed.

Position Location:
This position is located in Lansing, MI. This position may work a hybrid (remote/office) schedule. Selected candidates who have been approved to work a hybrid schedule must complete that work within Michigan. Candidates should confirm work location and schedule at the time of interview.

Required Education and Experience
Education
Possession of a bachelor's degree in any major.
Experience
Four years of professional experience, including two years equivalent to the experienced (P11) level or one year equivalent to the advanced (12) level.
Alternate Education and Experience
Education level typically acquired through completion of high school and two years of safety and regulatory or law enforcement experience at the 14 level; or, one year of safety and regulatory or law enforcement experience at the 15 level, may be substituted for the education and experience requirements.
