Stockroom Clerk
Company Overview: Our client is a leading utility company renowned for providing exceptional water and wastewater services to both businesses and homeowners across major counties. They are seeking a highly dedicated professional to join their team as a Stockroom Clerk.
Position Summary: The successful candidate must have a valid FL driver's license, is a computer-savvy and is able to work diligently.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with unloading trucks and checking deliveries.
- Properly label items and enter them into the system.
- Organize the warehouse in a systematic manner.
- Perform cycle counting to maintain accurate inventory levels.
- Stock and deliver goods to various sections.
- Maintain receiving logs and purchase/order files to ensure accurate tracking of inventory and deliveries.
- Provide excellent customer service when interacting with staff and guests, ensuring their needs are met promptly and professionally.
Qualifications:
- A valid Florida driver's license is required.
- Must be able to lift parts up to 50 lbs.
- Experience with Microsoft Excel and Maximo software is strongly preferred.
- Prior experience in a shop or handling water plant parts is a significant plus.
Necessary Attributes:
- Computer-savvy or has affinity towards handling computer software
- Strong ability to manage and track inventory accurately.
- Excellent interpersonal skills to interact effectively with staff and guests and form a good relationship with the team.
- Ability to maintain orderly records and logs and handle multiple tasks efficiently.
- Knowledge of safe equipment operation and handling procedures.
