M Health Fairview Health Services is looking for a Storekeeper at Fairview St. Johns Hospital in Maplewood, MN.
Meets customer service needs by receiving, stocking, counting and distributing supplies and equipment to customer locations throughout the assigned facility. Accesses information and enters data on various computer systems used for handling supplies and equipment

Rotating Day and Evening Schedule (dayshift is 5:30a-2p weekdays; evening shift is 1:30p-10p weekdays). This would be a 4 week on days 2 weeks on evenings rotation. Then you would work every other weekend, rotating between day and evening shift (weekends dayshifts are 6a-2:30p & 9a-5:30p; 2nd shift is 1:30p-10p).
Responsibilities/Job Description:- Receive, deliver, replenish, clean and maintain supplies/equipment/linen/forms including: stat room, patient rooms, inventory locations, and other areas, as appropriate.
- Assist with maintaining adequate inventory levels of equipment and supplies.
- Understanding of inventory control concepts with the ability to calculate par levels and adjust levels as vital.
- Coordinate the delivery of items arriving at the dock.
- Assemble, apply/remove, and accurately tag/transmit, and log into computer.
- Assure that excess inventory in totes is accounted for, detailed, and accurately routed. Perform gross decontamination of instruments, clean, rinse, and accurately route utensils.
- Decontaminate and clean patient care equipment such as, but not limited to: IV pumps' sequential compression devices; syringe pumps, warmers, respiratory care equipment, blood pressure apparatus, walkers, commodes, orthopedic apparatus, case carts, etc.
- Answer telephones as needed.
Required
Education
- High School Diploma/G.E.D.
Experience
- 6 months of comparable materials or related experience.
- Have the ability to bend, reach, stand and lift a maximum of 75 pounds.
- The qualified applicant must have excellent customer service, good communication skills with follow through and be able to prioritize
- Be able to operate a computer for supply requests, equipment requests, equipment tracking, and efficiency reporting.
- Applicant should also be able to learn quickly, follow directions and work independently.
Preferred
Education
- Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business, Nursing or Related field
Preferred Qualifications:
- 1-3 years health care related experience, extensive knowledge of medical hardware/software, medical supplies through formal education channels.
