Strategic Account Director – Dermatology

My medical device client is an innovative company that develops and manufactures regenerative therapies for wound and tissue repair. They are seeking to hire a Strategic Accounts Director responsible for building key relationships, developing sales strategies and managing national accounts. In this role, the Director will be a subject matter expert, educating on product benefits and promoting product growth in large wound care centers/hospitals.
Responsibilities:
- Introduce and position products, increasing sales and profit
- Identify new business opportunities; educate on benefits of products
- Create sales strategies and sell to accounts within assigned region
- Collaborate with internal teams to create materials and presentations
- Establish and maintain relationships with key decision makers
- Conduct reviews in key accounts on product performance
- Utilize various tools and strategies to emphasize product benefits
- Keep well-informed of competitors, client needs and analyze market trends
- Attend meetings, tradeshows and conferences
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree
- Min. 5+ years of National Account Management experience within the medical device industry
- Experience selling to hospitals, clinics, wound care centers and /or dermatology practices/groups
- Background in Dermatology (Mohs) and/or Tissue required
- Experience with Healthcare reimbursement required
- Documented Sales Success of meeting and achieving sales goals
- Ability and success in negotiating contracts
- Ability to navigate, develop and manage relationships amongst key decision makers, C-Suite
- Strong communication and presentation skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office suite
- Ability to travel approx. 60%
Offering:
- Base Salary $115,000 – $125,000 (based on experience)
- Year 1 @ plan to $250,000 MBO Incentive on top of base
- Travel Expenses
