The Strategic Communications Officer will be matrixed to and provide communication support to the HD Front Office.
Responsibilities
+ Developing messages for potentially the entire NGA workforce.
+ Crafting senior messages and talking points for various target audiences
+ Provide presentation support to Office leadership to include message intent, developing targeted/tailored graphical concept and designs
+ Preparing and supporting the development of Town Halls including preparing answers to questions posed at the Town Halls.
+ Use written and verbal skills to create a wide range of product and corporate communication material.
Qualifications
+ MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
+ Bachelors Degree in Public Relations or Communication and 11+ years of related experience or 19 years of related experience without the degree
+ At least 12 months demonstrated experienced with Sharepoint, updating web content and using electronic publishing applications, such as Microsoft Office Suite, Adobe InDesign, Photoshop Illustrator or Adobe Pro
+ At least 12 months demonstrated experience using APA style writing and editing
+ At least 12 months demonstrated experience planning and executing senior leaders’ (General/Flag Officer, SES or corporate equivalent) speaking events and crafting Q&A responses
+ At least 48 months demonstrated experience in communications strategy development
