What You'll Do
The Manager of Services Pricing, will oversee pricing and packaging for Teradata’s services offerings Support, Consulting or Managed Services), sold either as part of Cloud packages, or as add-ons.
+ Lead pricing design and strategy for Teradata’s services business. This includes research costing, modeling, customer value calculations, or TCO analysis.
+ Execute end-to-end services pricing strategies, including system’s readiness, communication and enablement.
+ Develop and manage agile and scalable pricing processes including annual pricing reviews, new product and service launches, competitive price monitoring, and price changes.
+ Pilot insightful pricing analytical efforts to uncover opportunities to improve profit in the short and long term.
+ Lead the organization to evolve the organization from cost-plus to value-based pricing.
+ Measure success of pricing strategies and adapt as needed.
Who You'll Work With
The new resource will work collaboratively with the Services, Sales, Marketing and Finance organization to drive end-to-end pricing strategies and execution. They will help maximize revenue and margins.
What Makes You a Qualified Candidate
+ Bachelor’s degree in a related field (Business Management, Accounting, Finance, Math, Economics, or other related field of study).
+ 8+ years’ experience developing and implementing various pricing models & strategies including aaS, recurring revenue, and consumption-based pricing within large, matrixed, and complex organizations.
+ 3+ years in the technology industry, data warehousing preferred.
+ Passionate about transforming pricing and developing new pricing strategies that impact strategies in the long term.
+ Strong Services pricing experience in Cloud companies.
+ Ability to wear many hats and work on multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.
+ Comfortable dealing with ambiguity with a reputation for “thinking outside of the box”.
+ Strong research abilities including qualitative, customer value research and quantitative techniques.
+ Proven experience in developing and communicating new and creative pricing strategies.
+ Collaborates enthusiastically with Finance, Services Management, and Sales Operations teams.
+ Outstanding communication skills at any level part or level of an organization.
+ Great presentation skills at CxO level.

Pay Rate: $118,300.00 - $147,900.00 - $177,500.00 Annually
