As part of the Strategy, Innovation and Deploymentteam, this individual will join the Orthopaedics Supply Chain group, and this role will support the Strategy, Innovation & Deployment (SI&D) across Network & Integration, Supply Chain Compliance and Systems Technology pillars. This role will oversee portfolio management and reporting as well as serve strategic support. This individual will be responsible for ensuring implementation and flawless execution of initiatives and projects within the Orthopaedics Supply Chain.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate to support the monthly Finance cycle with SI&D leadership, including Business Planning cycles for the SI&D portfolio with Finance.
- Provide strategic support for the SI&D Team including governance, team meetings, town halls, and key events.
- Drive effective Project Management by collaborating across SI&D- ensuring appropriate process controls, standards, metrics, and updates. Leading the team to deliver on objectives.
- Manage initiatives effectively, timely, and on budget while minimizing any impact to base business, customer service and employee engagement.
- Manage competing demands relevant to scope, schedule, cost, risk and quality, and differing stakeholder requirements and expectations to satisfy outcomes.
- Strive to understand complex problems and focus on bringing issues to resolution in a timely manner, escalating as necessary to meet timelines.
- Keep manager and key project stakeholders updated on project issues, resolution, risks and overall status of projects.
- Ensure local change management and commitment to the project goals are in place at each impacted site and function.
Education:
- Minimum of a Bachelor's degree and/or University degree is required. A focused degree in Science, Engineering, Supply Chain, Operations, Finance or related field highly preferred.
Required:
- Strong communicator, influencer, and self-motivated
- Comfortable working in a matrix environment where priorities change rapidly and possess the ability to adapt accordingly
- Detail oriented
- A minimum of four (4) years of relevant professional work experience is required
- Project management experience required
- Knowledge of end-to-end product supply and distribution in a regulated environment is required
- Medical Device/Pharmaceutical/Biologics experience
- Financial acumen and knowledge of business planning cycles.
Preferred: Project Management experience
Other:
- May require up to 20% domestic and/or international travel to other locations and sites
The Company maintains highly competitive, performance-based compensation programs. Under current guidelines, this position is eligible for an annual performance bonus in accordance with the terms of the applicable plan. The annual performance bonus is a cash bonus intended to provide an incentive to achieve annual targeted results by rewarding for individual and the corporation's performance over a calendar/performance year. Bonuses are awarded at the Company's discretion on an individual basis.
