Structural Engineer - Harrison Consulting Solutions

A leading engineering consulting firm with a long history in the Southeast is looking to add a Senior Structural Engineer to their Charlotte, North Carolina team!

Responsibilities:

• Communicate with clients, architects, and contractors
  
• Review structural documentation
  
• Mentor/train junior staff
  
• Provide project oversight for design calculations, construction document preparation, shop drawing/submittal review, site reviews
  
• Prepare RFI responses
  
• Review work of others and confirm QA/QC standards are met
  

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering
  
• Master's degree in Engineering preferred
  
• 2+ years of structural engineering experience, including structural design experience using different construction materials/structural systems (including steel, concrete, and masonry design in low to mid-rise structures)
  
• Project management experience required
  
• Client management experience preferred
  
• Experience using various software (Microsoft Office, Bentley (RAM) products, RISA, EnerCalc, Adapt, ETABS, SAFE, SAP, Tekla)
  
• Working knowledge of Revit preferred
