A very reputable client is seeking a Structural Engineer join their team. This person must have excellent leadership skills, must be well-organized and be able to work in a team environment. The successful candidate will either have a track record of project management or is interested in growing into that role. They are looking for an EIT looking to grow with a company.
Structural Engineer Job Description:
This position requires proficiency with structural design software and an ability to learn additional programs as required. Project management experience as it relates to cost and schedule analysis is preferred. Must be self motivated with the ability to adapt to multiple projects in a fast-paced environment. Growth potential is significant and will be based upon the candidate's experience, abilities and ambition.
Structural Engineer Responsibilities:
- Coordination of 3D models and 2D drawings with other trades and design firms.
- Efficient management of electronic job files from other design firms.
- Ability to efficiently manage design changes with short notice.
- Reading and interpreting Construction Documents.
Education and Experience:
Must possess structural engineering and inspection experience - a minimum of 2 years required. Experience in Structural or Architectural drafting. Degree in Engineering - professional license preferred. Must be proficient in AutoCAD, Revit, MS Office and Bluebeam.
