About the Job
Our client is looking for a Structural Project Engineer with around 5 to 10 years of experience to join their expanding Structural Engineering Group. This full-time position involves working on diverse projects across commercial, industrial, institutional, healthcare, recreational, and government sectors throughout New England. The role is based in South Burlington, VT.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare calculations in accordance with current material and building codes and applicable design standards.
- Proficiency in design software such as Ram, Enercalc, RetainPro, and similar tools.
- Ability to use Revit for creating drawings and sketches, including completing redlines.
- Conduct fieldwork to survey existing conditions and verify project compliance with plans.
- Coordinate workloads, manage client relationships, and oversee project management.
- Perform quality assurance and conduct reviews.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in civil or structural engineering.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit, along with familiarity with engineering design software.
- PE licensure in VT or NH or the ability to obtain it within 6-12 months.
- Strong technical skills coupled with effective written and verbal communication abilities.
