SPECIFIC JOB DESCRIPTION:
The ANSER Subcontract Administrator will perform contract/subcontract administration, procurement, and pricing functions during the pre-award, award, and post-award phases of the procurement process. These functions include distributing correspondence, negotiating, subcontract generation, contract close-out, file maintenance, and interaction with multiple technical contract managers and external customers.
Subcontract Acquisition and Fulfillment:
- Ensure subcontract documents comply with established procedures.
- Analyze contract requirements, special provisions, and terms to ensure compliance with laws, regulations, and corporate policies.
- Procure and administer purchase orders and subcontracts for goods and services.
- Maintain records for the same per established procedures.
- Ensure post-award compliance on supplier performance (cost, schedule, technical aspects, etc.) of awarded agreements.
Desired Skills and Experience:
- Familiarity with Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR), IDIQ vehicles, GWACs, and GSA schedules.
- Knowledge of SAP
- Experience in negotiations, subcontractor due diligence, and small business reporting.
- Ability to manage multiple assignments and work under strict deadlines
EDUCATION & YEARS OF EXPERIENCE:
- 5+ progressive years of government contracting experience
- A relevant degree such as a Bachelor’s or College Degree in Education, Business/Administration, Supply Chain Management, Business, Administration, Management, Finance, or Engineering is preferred.
- Certifications: Relevant certifications such as CPCM, CPSM, FAA, AMS, FAR, NCMA, CPM, CAPM, CFCM, or CSCP may be beneficial.
This position is not eligible for relocation. Only applicants within a commutable distance (50 miles) will be considered.
