Requirements:
- Ability to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.
- B.S. degree in Electrical Engineering.
- 10+ years project engineering experience.
- 2+ years demonstrated project management and leadership experience
- Advanced knowledge of power engineering principles, applicable codes, standards and design tools, and the ability to direct and oversee multiple technical disciplines in completion of substation projects.
- PE and/or PE strongly preferred.
- Ability to travel occasionally.
Responsibilities:
- Background in conceptual, preliminary and final detailed design of new, upgraded and expanded substations.
- Oversee project teams of project and design engineers, designers, drafters and support staff.
- Scoping, budgeting, scheduling, planning, executing, monitoring and reporting of substation projects and proposals.
- Material procurement, construction and commissioning/startup support through energization.
- Execute quality control procedure, ensuring best-in class project execution and delivery. Interact with and coordinate subject matter expert discipline
- to ensure successful execution of projects.
- Serve as primary interface with clients and other project stakeholders.
