Position:Program Overview
Rockefeller Capital Management offers a distinctive Summer Analyst Program experience as a premier independent financial advisory firm. Our diversified businesses, boutique size, and entrepreneurial culture shape a dynamic, personalized experience for our Analysts.
Our 2025 Summer Analyst program is a ten-week (June-August) internship program designed to provide an opportunity to experience the culture and atmosphere of Rockefeller Capital Management. Summer Analysts will be fully immersed in the day-to-day activities of the business providing opportunities to learn, grow, and excel.

Eligibility and Selection Criteria
To be eligible for consideration students must be undergraduates currently in their junior year and in good standing at the school. Analysts should have an interest in the financial services industry and be eager to learn and make an impact.
Position
Rockefeller Capital Management’s Corporate Controller group within the firm’s Finance function is seeking a Summer Analyst to support the team. The Summer Analyst will support the Controller Organization, gaining exposure to all three businesses segments within Rockefeller Capital Management: Asset Management, Rockefeller Global Family Office, and Investment Banking. The Summer Analyst will work across the Finance Organization to gain an in depth understanding of the financial reporting process, from transactional inputs to the delivery of internal and external reporting.
- Gain exposure to Microsoft Dynamics 365 accounting software and SAP Concur Invoice and Expense payables software
- Assist in planning for month-end close using Monday.com
- Prepare journal entries, balance sheet reconciliations, and expense variance analysis
- Compile both internal and external reports for review by Sr. Finance members
- Ad-hoc projects as needed
- High school diploma
- Must be enrolled as a rising senior student in an accredited college or university with a major in accounting, finance, economics.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office with emphasis on Excel such as: pivot tables, v-lookups, index, match, etc.
- Ability to use Excel to organize, analyze, present and report on information; Word, Access and PowerPoint a plus
- Ability to work well independently and as a part of a team
- Ability to multi-task and be able to reassess priorities as situations arise
- Detail-oriented and attention to accuracy and meeting deadlines
- Excellent inter-personal skills
- Ability to exercise discretion with confidential matters
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to express ideas clearly and concisely
The anticipated hourly rate for this role is $35/hour. Hourly rate for the role will depend on several factors, including a candidate’s qualifications, skills, competencies, and experience, and may fall outside of the range shown.
