Job Description:
- Site Management: Oversee all on-site construction activities to ensure adherence to project plans, specifications, and timelines.
- Schedule Coordination: Develop and maintain project schedules, coordinate activities with subcontractors, and monitor progress to meet project milestones.
- Subcontractor Supervision: Select, onboard, and manage subcontractors and vendors, ensuring they perform work in accordance with project requirements and safety standards.
- Quality Control: Implement and enforce quality control processes to ensure workmanship and materials meet design specifications and industry standards.
- Safety Compliance: Enforce safety protocols and regulations to create a safe working environment for all personnel on the construction site.
- Material Management: Coordinate delivery, storage, and use of materials to optimize efficiency and minimize waste.
- Conflict Resolution: Address conflicts or issues that arise during construction, working to resolve them promptly and effectively to minimize disruptions.
- Documentation and Reporting: Maintain accurate records of construction activities, including daily reports, progress photos, and safety documentation.
- Client Communication: Provide regular updates to clients and project stakeholders on construction progress, milestones, and any issues that may impact the project.
- Budget Management: Monitor project expenses and assist in managing costs to ensure projects are completed within budgetary constraints.
- Team Leadership: Supervise and provide guidance to on-site personnel, fostering a positive and collaborative work environment.
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in construction site supervision, with a proven track record of successfully managing solar energy projects.
- In-depth knowledge of solar energy systems, construction methods, and industry best practices.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage on-site teams effectively.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interface with clients, subcontractors, and project stakeholders.
- Proficiency in project management software and MS Office Suite.
- OSHA certification and knowledge of relevant safety regulations.
- Ability to travel to multiple sites daily
