Arbor Construction is the construction "Arm" for Stark Enterprises, headquartered in Cleveland Ohio. Stark Enterprises is a full service development, leasing, construction, and management company with the finest real estate professionals in the region. Due to the numerous real estate holdings owned and managed by Stark Enterprises, Arbor Construction has a continual flow of work in re-tenanting and improving existing properties as well as general contracting new projects. Arbor Construction acts a General Contractor and Construction Manager for third party client projects as well.
Position Overview:
Primary responsibilities are to ensure the timely execution of projects assigned, consistent with quality standards, and to effectively manage the construction process as well as keeping the Vice President of Construction advised on all matters. Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Management/Coordination of all job site subcontractors
- Job site safety
- Carry out necessary on-site pre-construction functions
- Ensure project schedules are being carried out according to plan
- On-time documentation related to construction job site activities (i.e. safety logs, daily reports, safety audits, etc.)
- Quality Control
- Cost Control
- Client relationship management
Education & Experience:
- 5+ years of experience in building construction, 2 of which in a supervisory role.
- Computer skills, proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel, MS Project, Outlook
- CPM Scheduling
- Knowledgeable in Construction Means and Methods in all building trades
- OSHA 30-hour training
- Problem Solving and Troubleshooting
- Retail Construction, Multifamily, and Hospitality experience preferred.
