We are excited to be opening our new distribution facility in Merrillville, IN using state of the art technology while minimizing our carbon footprint. Our 400,000 square foot facility will serve as one of our global shipping hubs responsible for meeting the demand of our customers internationally.
As a Materials Supervisor you will manage the materials department, production scheduling, purchasing/planning, and inventory control. You'll assign and oversee the daily work of individual schedulers, buyers, and planners. In this role you will:

As a Materials Supervisor you will manage the materials department, production scheduling, purchasing/planning, and inventory control. You'll assign and oversee the daily work of individual schedulers, buyers, and planners. In this role you will:
- Develop and execute schedules to meet site inventory goals and customer service levels.
- Continuously refine and improve material control processes to assure on-going productivity and minimal overhead costs.
- Identify capacity constrained processes and implement strategies to meet service level requirements.
- Create planning, work schedules, and work instructions; and manage execution to achieve operational excellence.
- Staff materials department and coach/develop employees.
- Required Degree: High School Degree or GED equivalent.
- Preferred Degree: Bachelor's degree.
- Preferred Certificate: APICS.
- 5+ years related materials experience.
- 1+ year supervisory or leadership experience.
